REGISTRATION
Abstract Submission
Abstract submissions are open for our 5th TEAM meeting to be held from 15 -18 April 2024, in Belle Mare, Mauritius. The venue will be located at the Crystal Maritim Beach Hotel. The meeting will be held in English.
Authors may submit abstracts relevant to the sessions either as an Oral or as a Poster contribution.
Submitted abstracts will be subject to acceptance by the Scientific Committee. Timeslots for oral presentations are limited but abstracts not accepted for oral presentations, could still be considered for a poster. Authors will be advised of the decision of the Committee by 9 Feb 2024. At least one author of a submitted abstract should be registered before the abstract can be included in the programme.
The inclusion of the abstract in the Programme and Abstract Book will be subject to proof of registration and payment by 5 APRIL 2024
GUIDELINES FOR ABSTRACTS
The abstract should respect this format:
- in MS Word format or Rich Text Format
- in English
- maximum one page long in A4 format with 3 cm margin
- Font type: Times New Roman and font size: 12
- single spacing
- Title (centered, in capital and font size 12 bold, no full stop)
- Authors with full name (centered and bold), and with principal or corresponding author underlined
- Affiliation for each author and mailing address for the corresponding author
- Text which should not exceed 250 words
- 5 Key words

GUIDELINES FOR POSTERS
- Dimensions: 90 cm (width) X 120 cm. Leave 3 cm margin in all directions.
- Title in CAPITAL letter (Font size: minimum 72 - 86 points Arial or similar)
- Authors list: small letters, include first name, underline corresponding author (Font size: 32 – 40 Arial or similar).
- Provide affiliation for all authors (Fonts italics: size 32 Arial or similar).
- Body of the poster – Tables and Figures. Do not use capital letters except for headings (Font size: minimum 32 Arial or similar).
- References if used at all should be restricted to maximum 3 (Fonts italics: size 20 – 30).
- Colour: Avoid using too many colours.
- Cropping, Margins and Spacing: All edges and margins should be straight and even.
- Posters presented should be attractive, well organized, self explanatory, careful in linking text to imagery and appropriate to the audience at hand.
