Technical Tours
A technical tour will be organized on Thursday 18 April 2024. Buses will be provided and will depart from the symposium venue at 08:30. The technical tour fee will exclude lunch and entrance fees to sightseeing venues (where applicable).
The tour will constitute of a site visit to the mass rearing facility in Reduit (till noon). The main group will then be split into three separate groups for the following sightseeing destinations. There will be three buses organized. Buses will stop by food courts along the way and allow participants for a lunch break of 1 hour. All buses will depart from their final point at 16:30.
(i) Central and west coast:

Due to road works which is planned over 9 months, the Central/ West coast trip will not be possible during the forthcoming event.
The alternate route will be Mahebourg museum, Mahebourg waterfront (Battle of vieux Grand Port), Pointe D'Esny, Blue Bay Beach (sea activities and marine park - cost not inclusive).
